RED BANK, NJ - Joyce  Anastasia Urbanski, a founder and active member of the Art Alliance, will be showing selections from a series of landscape paintings in the windows of the Art Alliance Gallery during the month of December.

In her work Urbanski explores the nature of artistic representation of reality and its relationship to appearance.  Urbanski focuses on a literal landscape, and, using color, texture, and composition, gives the viewer an imaginative version of ordinary reality.  With Urbanski perception is key – there is so much to see in her work.

Urbanski has exhibited nationally in more than fifteen one-person exhibitions and participated in many invitational and group exhibitions in galleries, institutions, and universities.  Her work is in numerous private, corporate, and public collections. Urbanski is represented by galleries in New York and New Jersey.

The main gallery space at Art Alliance features work that is 100 square inches or less including the frame.  This work is ideal for holiday gifts; you may buy the work and take it off the wall and home with you!
